This specification covers technical grade ethyl acetate (see 6.1 and 6.3). Intended Use: The ethyl acetate covered by this specification is intended for use as an ingredient in cellulose lacquers and lacquer thinners. (see 6.3). Items procured under this specification for military use are to be limited to the variety shown on the applicable military standard or military supply standard. Personnel of the military departments are requested to refer to those documents for guidance.
